Our instructors are all very experienced and have hundreds of successful passes between them.
We are so proud of our instructors and the work they put in for all of our students, which is why we have one of the highest pass levels in Gloucestershire.
Tom Lowe
Tom Lowe is the owner of the driving school. He has been a driving instructor since 2006 and is as popular as ever. His naturally calm and pleasant nature certainly goes down well. He covers both Gloucester and Cheltenham and at present has a top of the range Fiesta.
He is a very talented guitarist and somehow is able to conjure well known tunes out of thin air, always with his trademark smile. He is married to Lisa, who became the office manager when Tom took over and they have two lovely daughters, Daisy and Freya. They live in Longlevens.
Sara Povey
Our driving instructor, Sara Povey, lives in the Forest of Dean, and very helpfully is able to look after students from that area, as well as our normal areas around Gloucester.
Sara has proved to be a great addition to John Lowe Driving and we were very pleased when she joined us, as she is very up to date with the latest requirements and always provides an exceptional driving lesson.
Sara is always putting her students first, they mean a lot to her. As well as loving all aspects of driving, she keeps fit by regular swimming and running. She drives a new Renault Clio, which is perfect for learning.
Lisa Lowe
Lisa Lowe is our office manager in charge of customer services. She has a background in education, being a former school teacher.
She sees that our students are allocated to the most suitable driving instructor, deals with the driving instructors diaries, and answers the numerous queries that can crop up. She will confirm all of the arrangements by text, so that eveything is clear.
She is enormously experienced and awfully nice, so she can always help with any situation, and you will always be treated with respect, as Lisa will always remember that it is your driving lesson.
