The hazard perception part of the theory test is being updated with new computer generated clips of adverse weather conditions, such as snow, wind and rain.

There are 23 new scenes of which some will include dusk and dawn conditions.

Some learner drivers will already have experienced these changes, as they are now in force, but if you haven’t yet taken your theory test, it will pay you to get some practice in on these new requirements.

Future updates will include scenarios featuring children, cyclists and motorbikes.
