Being in a rural setting, and an independent village, the roads from Churchdown into the south of Gloucester for the driving test centre can be challenging. These include rural roads, country lanes, dual carriageways, spiral roundabouts and town driving. Our students from Churchdown are well equipped to handle anything by the time they are driving test ready, as nothing can be overlooked and their skills have to be of the top order, due to the location. We have had tremendous success over the years, producing scores of excellent drivers.
I can't thank Jess enough, she's a really good instructor, who really looks after you on your driving lessons. I can't recommend her enough!"

"Jess was a fantastic driving instructor."
"Jess was a fantastic driving instructor and it was a real pleasure from start to finish.
The tips for every manouevre were so simple, they made each one seem so easy. Aside from a great teaching style and a lovely relaxed environment, it was also a nice place for a chat!
Overall a fantastic teacher!"

Passed, Matt Blowing of Churchdown.
Congratulations toMatt Blowing of Churchdown, who passed his driving test atGloucester Driving Test Centre on November 15th 2017, with his driving instructor,Tom Lowe. Matt has said that Tom was always very helpful and supportive, especially as he had to put his driving lessons on hold for six months, while he was working away in London. Even though Tom is always extremely busy, he made sure to fit Matt in again on his return, resulting in his test pass. Tom sends his best wishes and all of us atJohn Lowe Drivingwish Matt well for the future and thank him for using our driving school. Warm Regards, Tom Lowe.
Passed, Jo Whitehead of Innsworth, Gloucester.
Congratulations toJo Whiteheadof Innsworth, Gloucester, who passed her driving test with her instructor,Jess Barker,atGloucesterDriving Test Centre on July 10th 2017. Jo had a poor experience with a different driving school a few years ago, and was extremely apprehensive about starting her driving lessons again, having very little confidence in the process. Happily, things changed when she teamed up with Jess and with hard work and targeted practice, she has achieved her desired result! Passing the driving test was very important to Jo, as she's moving at the end of the month and having earned her full driving licence means that she can drive herself to her new job. What a brilliant result! Jess sends her best wishes and all of us atJohn Lowe Drivingwish Jo the very best for the future and thank her for using our driving school. Warm Regards, Tom & Lisa Lowe.
Passed, Danni Deane of Churchdown.
Congratulations toDanni Deane of Churchdownwho achieved a first time driving test pass on February 22nd 2017, with her driving instructor,Tom Lowe. Tom was especially pleased for Danni as she had put a lot of concentration into her driving, had prepared really well, and fully deserved her first time pass. Anybody who lives in Churchdown has to be really on top of their driving, as the routes to the driving test centre, for example, are pretty challenging. Danni took it all in her stride and made sure she only had to do it once. Tom sends his best wishes, and all of us atJohn Lowe Drivingwish Danni all the best for the future, welcome her tothe first time pass club, and thank her for having her driving lessons with us. Best Regards, John Lowe.
Martyn is very pleased with her progress, as she is doing really well in her lessons and has her theory test shortly. Maddie has two small children to get around, so driving is a priority for her and she's getting used to the complicated road systems around Churchdown, where she lives.
All of us at John Lowe Driving wish Maddie every success and are confident that Martyn will see her through to a driving test pass.
Passed, Paige Halliway.
Congratulations toPaige Halliway, who scored a superb first time driving test pass atCheltenhamtest centre, with her driving instructor,Martyn Brewer,on January 6th 2017. Paige was under quite a bit of pressure to pass, as she was due back at university on January 9th, but did a quality test with only four minor driving faults and has got it all out of the way. Martyn was delighted for Paige, saying that she stayed cool and just put into practice all that she had learnt on her driving lessons, and got the result that she deserved. It's always good to start the New Year well and all of us atJohn Lowe Drivingwish Paige every success, welcome her to thefirst time pass club, and thank her for using our driving school. Best Regards, John Lowe,
Passed, Sarah Hyde of Churchdown.
We are delighted to announce yet another first time driving test pass, this time, the honours going toSarah Hyde of Churchdown, who passed at the first attempt with driving instructor,Nick Butters, on September 30th 2016, from Gloucester test centre. Nick was delighted for Sarah, who fully deserved her success, after such a determined effort to master the multiple skills required. This fantastic run of first time passes does not mean the test has suddenly become easier, quite the opposite, in fact, with the roads becoming ever busier, a higher level of ability and focus is needed to succeed. The driving test success is down to the hard work and application of students such as Sarah, and the up to date skills of our instructors, such as Nick. All of us atJohn Lowe Drivingwish Sarah all the best for the future, welcome her to thefirst time pass club, and thank her for using our driving school. Warm Regards, John Lowe.

"Martyn gave me a lot of confidence."
"I'm so pleased to have passed my driving test first time today! It went really well as I only had two faults. I want to thank my driving instructor, Martyn Brewer for teaching me, he was great and gave me a lot of confidence. I've got my own car ready and waiting, and can't wait to be driving on my own, as there are a lot of things I've got planned, which I can now get on with. I really recommend Martyn and John Lowe Driving School."
"My driving lessons went really well and I've just passed my driving test first time. My driving instructor, Jackie Kaur, had a great way of teaching which would suit most people well, as she would hand the responsibility for each task over as soon as possible, so the student is thinking for themself. With this system, the driving test was not that daunting, as I knew what to do. It's great to be on the road."
"My driving lessons with John Lowe Driving went really well. I had used other driving schools in the past, with disappointing results, so I contacted John and he took me on in the automatic car. What a difference! The car was lovely to drive, and John was very easy to get along with and his instruction was fun and unfussy. The waiting list for a driving test in Gloucester was quite long, so I found a vacancy in Cheltenham, an area that I don't know too well, but we decided to go for it, and I passed! It's great, I've got my own car now and can't thank John Lowe Driving enough."
"I needed to find a driving instructor I felt comfortable with, so I contacted John Lowe Driving, who had a good reputation. My instructor was Tom Lowe, and he was just right for me. He was always calm and kind and really knew his stuff and was able to always help me out in a positive manner. I have got a lot of plans now that I've passed my driving test, so thanks Tom, I would recommend you to anyone."
